Shift Schedule: 4 to 8 call shifts per month. Available schedules include 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, or 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM (24-hour call).

Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Included
Case Mix: Labor and delivery management, intrapartum care, postpartum care, OB triage, newborn assessments, first assist in obstetric procedures. Approximately 2,000 annual deliveries.
EMR System: Epic
Required Procedures: First Assist, intrapartum management, postpartum care, OB triage, well-woman gynecologic exams.
Job Requirements: Board: Board Certified - American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB), Licenses: Active Texas Medical License, DEA: Active Texas DEA Certification, Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Experience: Minimum of 2 years of full-scope midwifery experience; Minimum of 2 years of recent first assist experience (within the past 2 years).
Duties & Responsibilities: Provide full-scope midwifery care in an inpatient hospital setting. Support patients throughout labor and delivery, including first assist duties. Manage intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage patients. Perform well-woman gynecologic exams across the lifespan. Participate in 12-hour or 24-hour in-house call coverage.
