Outpatient Physical Therapist Assistant

Job description: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Full Time Montecito Outpatient - Phoenix, AZ Montecito Outpatient is seeking an experienced and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing outpatient therapy team! This full-time position includes treating patients in both our outpatient setting and local Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs) throughout the Phoenix area. Position Details- Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday
- Pay: $30-$35 per hour, based on experience
- Setting: Outpatient & Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs)
- Travel: Local travel to assigned ALF communities required
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving mobility, strength, balance, and function
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfer training, and functional activities
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates with supervising PT and care team
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety recommendations
- Complete timely and accurate documentation
- Travel between outpatient and ALF locations as needed
- Current Arizona PTA license in good standing
- Must have completed Arizona-required supervision requirements, of onsite supervised clinical experience required for general supervision eligibility
- Previous outpatient and/or ALF experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
