Civil Construction Manager

Civil Construction Manager Description Construction QA for 2 years until transitioning into a construction project manager. First 2 years will have extended travel, can go home for a long weekend about once a month. Perform field work including groundwater monitoring, landfill gas monitoring, and vapor monitoring. Conduct construction quality assurance (CQA) observations and document compliance with design plans and specifications. Assist with landfill cap and liner construction quality assurance activities. Collect and document environmental samples including soil, water, air, and landfill gas. Prepare detailed field notes, logs, and photographic documentation. Support report preparation including data tables, summaries, and technical documentation. Assist with drilling oversight, well installation, and monitoring activities. Participate in emergency spill response efforts as needed. Coordinate with project managers, field teams, and contractors. Projects may include municipal solid waste landfill, groundwater well monitoring, and chemical/petroleum spill projects. Software: use CAD and Microsoft platforms. Qualifications Willingness to obtain 40 hour HAZWOPER certification and OSHA. Experience with environmental monitoring or construction oversight. Familiarity with data collection and reporting. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
