Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite | Projected Start: September 21, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 29-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips on an ongoing basis throughout the shift
• Administer and titrate IV medications including insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone
• Perform and assist with unit procedures including IV insertions, NGT placement and maintenance, chest tube maintenance, Foley insertions, and temporary pacemaker management
• Provide post-cardiac procedural care for patients following ablations, cardiac catheterizations, Post-Op Day 1 open heart surgery, and permanent pacemaker placements
• Document patient care using Meditech and communicate with the care team using Imobile; participate in bedside shift report and uphold patient experience standards

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Cardiac Telemetry, PCU, or ICU
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips
• Experience with post-cardiac procedural care (ablations, cardiac catheterizations, open heart surgery post-op, pacemaker placements)
• Proficiency administering and titrating IV cardiac and vasoactive medications
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Must be available to work full-time hours including 3 weekend shifts per scheduling period; navy blue scrubs required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
• Experience with equipment such as Alaris IV pumps, temporary pacemakers, wound vacs, bladder scanners, and telemetry monitors
• Prior travel nursing experience in a fast-paced cardiac setting
