Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Overview Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Clinton, Illinois. This 4-week temporary position is in a Critical Access Hospital setting. Start date is 08/03/2026. Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care in the Emergency Department
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and perform treatments as ordered
• Evaluate outcomes and consult with ED physicians, specialists, and ancillary departments as required; adjust nursing care accordingly
• Communicate changes in patient condition, symptoms, and test results to the ED team and patient/family
• Support patient flow and safety, addressing psychosocial and general care needs
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response; document thoroughly and escalate as needed

Requirements

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• ENPC, TNCC, and TNS certifications preferred
• Ability to work night shifts (3x12) with rotating weekends
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment
