What to Expect Global Business Development is a small but mighty team that works to analyze markets, shape emerging business models, and advise the industrial energy business on how best to meet Tesla's mission of accelerating the transition to sustainable energy. This is a dynamic role that will be a key member of the biz dev team. It requires an intensely curious mindset that loves analyzing mountains of data to solve problems. On any given day, this Analyst could be analyzing competitor product announcements to inform product strategy, researching energy storage project announcements to guide new market entry, creating market size and share dashboards to inform growth strategy, and much more. Working on Tesla's Energy Business Development Team requires wearing many hats and adapting to a fast‑paced work environment. Besides a rock‑solid work ethic and a strong team‑oriented personality, members of the team must display creativity, passion, and a desire to break new ground in a constantly shifting landscape.
