Senior Auditor

Overview Boulo is recruiting a Senior Audit Associate in Huntsville, Alabama for our client, a leading CPA and advisory firm that spans beyond audit and tax to include corporate advisory, technology and risk solutions, HR Solutions, and more. Employment Type: Full-time. Flexibility: Hybrid in Huntsville, Alabama. Compensation: $75,000 - $90,000 per year. Responsibilities Prepare all sections of an audit with minimal supervision, supervise the preparation of less complicated sections of an audit, and take primary responsibility for the preparation of financial statements. Manage client contact, coordination within the company, staffing requirements, administrative documentation, and preparation timing for small and medium-sized engagements. Collaborate with more experienced personnel on coordinating large client engagements, identifying problems, process improvements, and computer model analysis; help clients determine optimal strategies. Maintain quality client relationships. Develop skills to attract new clients and market the company’s services to facilitate expansion with existing clients. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 1 - 3 years of experience in audit Possession of CPA or CPA eligible Knowledge of GAAP and GAAS Experience with a variety of software packages (Engagement experience a plus) Ability to supervise staff effectively Excellent interpersonal skills when working with staff and clients Ability to provide guidance and direction to department staff who are not direct reports About Boulo Boulo is a recruiting platform that helps experienced professionals stand out to hiring managers by showcasing value through a skills-first approach.
