Certified Occupational Therapist

Bloomfield Public Schools, Bloomfield, Connecticut is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist. Candidates should be able to work with a team of teachers who are dedicated to improving student achievement. All candidates must possess appropriate State of Connecticut certification. Qualifications include current license/certification from the State of CT and experience in occupational therapeutic methods and techniques in the rehabilitation field and/or school setting working with special education students. Responsibilities include implementing therapeutic services to students requiring occupational therapy interventions, coordinating to assist in the development of programming for students with disabilities, designing and implementing activities that support the implementation of IEP goals and objectives, and implementation of Occupational Therapy services as defined in student Individualized Education Plans. Collect data that supports progress monitoring of IEP goals and objectives. Resume review will begin immediately.
