Looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact in a vibrant educational setting? This full-time contract position offers Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) the chance to support students’ development across multiple schools serving grades K-12. Working with a dedicated team, you’ll help foster communication skills and growth for students in a dynamic school environment.

This assignment begins as soon as possible and runs through June 2027, following the school calendar to provide stability and routine for both staff and students. Two SLPs are needed for this role, and both will engage with a diverse caseload at various school sites within the district.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
• Experience with school-based SLP responsibilities
• Licensed (or eligible) to practice as an SLP in Connecticut
• Comfortable working with K-12 students across a range of abilities
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• In-person attendance required; remote candidates will not be considered

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, provide therapy, and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Serve students across multiple campuses throughout the week
• Maintain accurate records and participate in IEP meetings
• Communicate effectively with educators, administrators, and parents
• Adapt strategies to support diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds
• Contribute to school-wide initiatives for student success
