Mailing Expeditor/Driver

FSSI is currently looking for a Mailing Expeditor/Driver to join our 2nd shift team in Santa Ana, CA. This position is responsible for expediting large-scale bulk mailing production including job tracking, materials staging, and inventory logging, as well as serves as a back-up driver as needed.

Full-time Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm (2nd shift)

Overtime is scheduled as needed, and could require coming in earlier, staying later, and working weekend shifts during high-volume production cycles.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Assist the Shift Supervisor in scheduling all production runs and accept mailing work orders and checklists into the Mailing Department, based on specified criteria.
Verify that all necessary information needed to start each job is on the checklist and correct.
Stage materials for the mailing operators, including physically moving job trees requiring strenuous physical work such as heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling.
Work with the Shift Supervisor to ensure all necessary materials to complete the job have been ordered and received. Return all unused materials back to leftovers.
Assist Client Service Reps in promptly resolving customer questions or problems regarding stock or inserts.
Receive and give a verbal turnover to shift Supervisor at end of each shift.
Serve as a backup driver when needed:
Driving company vehicles for the purpose of pick-ups and deliveries to designated locations.
Prepare daily production volume for USPS, Pitney Bowes Pre-Sort Services (PBPS) and Direct Mailing for deliveries.
Sort and prepare production volume for PBPS daily pickups.
Unload mailing materials delivery trucks.
Retrieve and prepare Custom Insert's first-class mail for delivery to Post Office.
Assist the mailing department with additional work, as needed and/or requested, including catching, sorting, machine operations, maintaining spec sheets, etc.
Understand and consistently follow company policies and safety regulations.
