Bonus amounts for positions under 40 hours per week will be prorated.Job Description:Administers respiratory therapy, care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the pulmonary system under the supervision of the physician and by prescription.Major Responsibilities:a. Performs all functions within the scope of practice as ordered by the physician.b. Monitors environmental and life support systems.c. Observes patients, checks equipment and makes changes as necessary during patient rounds.d. Performs emergency care.e. Assists physicians as directed.f. Maintains established departmental policies, procedures, objectives and quality assurance.EducationPost Secondary Education or equivalent – Directly related fieldYears of Experience – 1 to 3 years Directly relatedLicense and CertificationRespiratory Care Practitioner – NH; Nationally recognized credential (CRT, RRT)CPR certified within 90 days of hirePay Range:$35.00 – $52.01The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law.
