Lakeland Regional Health is seeking a Family Medicine Core Faculty Member to help shape the next generation of physicians in our growing Family Medicine Residency Program . This is an exciting opportunity to combine clinical practice with teaching and mentorship in a collaborative, patient-centered environment. Highlights include:
Position Highlights
Serve as Core Faculty for a 24-resident program.
Engage in inpatient, outpatient, pediatric, and prenatal care .
Participate in curriculum development, resident supervision, and scholarly activities.
Work in a 900-bed hospital , home to one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the country.
Dedicated recently constructed continuity clinic
Access to on-site research support and academic resources.
Academic appointment to affiliated medical schools
Qualifications
MD or DO degree with Board Certification in Family Medicine .
Eligible for Florida medical licensure.
Passion for teaching and mentoring residents and medical students
Commitment to evidence-based, full-spectrum family medicine.

ABOUT US: For over 100 years, not-for-profit Lakeland Regional Health has provided exceptional inpatient and outpatient healthcare in over 40 specialties. LRH has achieved multiple workplace awards from highly reputable names including Aetna, Forbes, and the Florida Hospital Association. Our 892-bed main campus operates a Level II Trauma Center, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, the Bannasch Institute for Advanced Rehabilitation Medicine, and is home to one of the nation's busiest single site Emergency Department. We continue to grow as seen in our Carol Jenkins Barnett Pavilion for Women and Children and Harrell Family Center for Behavioral Wellness.

Qualifications: Must be board certified/board eligible through ABMS or AOA. Must have a current Florida medical license or the ability to obtain one.
