LVN/LPN - Behavioral

Job Summary:

Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in an addiction rehab setting, focusing on stabilizing detox symptoms and facilitating a safe recovery environment. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient well-being and compliance with treatment protocols.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess detox symptoms and determine appropriate nursing interventions.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and manage medical issues as needed.
  
  
• 
  Perform admissions, obtain EKGs, and demonstrate phlebotomy skills.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patient status and respond to emergent medical situations efficiently.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately in the Allscripts EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with counselors and team members to support patient stability and safety.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold LVN or LPN licensure with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
  
  
• 
  Possess BLS and De-Escalation training certification.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in phlebotomy and EKG collection.
  
  
• 
  Have experience in MedSurg or detox assessment, with preferred psych knowledge.
  
  
• 
  Be capable of handling behavioral issues, with the ability to assess psych transfer needs.
  
  
• 
  Be willing to float to related units as needed, with proper experience.
