Make an impact from day ONE at CTI Foods!Job OverviewThe Shipping/Receiving Clerk will be expected to complete all job functions listed below to ensure efficient operations of the department. This position will require the associate to maintain a close working relationship with all departments while keeping safety and food safety in the fore front of all actions and decisions being made in the plant. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. Your job could involve driving around warehouses, production area and storage spaces. You must be a responsible individual with great experience in driving industrial vehicles. The goal will be to ensure that material and products will always be at the right place to achieve maximum efficiency.ResponsibilitiesSet up and manage outbound schedulesWork directly with carrier dispatch personnel via email/phoneResponsible for checking in/out drivers at RTE dock officeVerification of PO's both for pick up and deliveryDirecting drivers to the correct area for delivery/pick upResponsible for sealing outbound customer ordersVerify driver check in form for accuracyObtain pictures of reefer set point and trailer temp reading for confirmation of approved loading temps on all outbound shipments to attach to paperworkComplete all BOL paperwork for customer and transfer ordersSet up of temperature recorders as needed per customerScan and upload all customer orders into AR website program for invoicingMaintaining all filesSmall parcel receiving (UPS Ground, FedEx Ground, FedEx Express)Inventory management of all logistics supply needsUnload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned placesLocate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipmentIdentify damages and report shortages or quality deficienciesTransport raw materials to production workstationsInspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenanceKeep updated records of inventory and activity logsComply with company policies and legal guidelinesHelp maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilitiesClean and sanitize areaWeigh spices for production after checking schedule and printing off recipe specsSplitting off correct weights from tags in MACOLA and applying tagsUtilize FIFOWork with QA on allergen locationsFollow all company Safety Rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and adhere to JSA guidelinesResponsible for Food Safety and Quality CultureFollow daily set up and/or shutdown proceduresMaintain accurate recordsMust be able to work any shift, overtime, weekends and/or holidaysAbility to follow written and verbal instructionsQualificationsExperience in warehouse/manufacturing environment preferredAbility to handle multiple taskAbility to work alone with minimal supervisionProven experience as forklift operatorAttention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipmentExcellent physical condition and coordinationValid certification to operate forkliftsAbility to identify visual defects and make correction as needed and identify and distinguish between colorsMust be able to work in areas of varying temperaturesRelieve other associates as necessaryMaintain good housekeepingRegular attendancePromotes, adheres, and is responsible for Food Safety and QualityContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededPerform all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with applicable Federal, State, and local laws as well as company policies and proceduresCertifications/Training Required:Hearing Loss protectionFork Lift TrainingCDL (Optional)HACCP
