Program Support Specialist

Program Support Specialist (ID: ANH1-006) – Dover – ACE – $24.00 per hour – 20 hours per week – Minimum age 55. Job Summary Disclaimer: This is not a federal position. This role is offered through a partnership agreement and does not constitute an NRCS hiring action. This is a non‑federal role funded through a partnership agreement between NRCS and NEW Solutions. The enrollee will provide direct support to farmers and landowners to implement conservation practices, enhance field office capacity, and enable NRCS staff to focus on high‑priority responses. The position is field‑facing, partner‑enabled, and designed to supplement but not replace federal staff. Key Responsibilities Review and upload contracts and financial documents; ensure accuracy and compliance with contract provisions; process payment requests. Assemble contract folders and maintain electronic and paper filing systems; support field office staff and District Conservationists. Identify discrepancies in documentation and coordinate corrections before payment processing. Provide backup support for reception, mailing, and record management; assist with reorganization of field office files to meet protocols and maintain ledgers. Other Requirements Training on NH NRCS policies and procedures. Travel between Concord Field Office and Milford Field Office, with access to government vehicles; travel may also be required for NRCS meetings. Qualifications Minimum five (5) years of experience using Microsoft Office and proficiency in Adobe Acrobat; familiarity with office automation equipment (scanner, printer); knowledge of computer internet security/cyber security; basic letter writing and strong written and verbal communication skills; or a high‑school diploma/GED in Business or Financial Management, Office Administration, or a related field of study. Travel between Concord and Milford field offices; government vehicles will be provided. Experience with Windows, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe, MS Teams Conservation Desktop, Protracts, CART.
