What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care within a Level III NICU and newborn nursery
• Attend and manage high-risk deliveries collaboratively with OB and perinatal teams
• Deliver patient-centered care to approximately 9-11 newborns daily
• Work within an 8-bed NICU and 10 LDR couplet rooms
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, nurse practitioners, nursing, and respiratory therapy staff
• Mentor NICU nursing and respiratory teams as patient acuity increases
• Develop and implement clinical protocols
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Communicate effectively with hospital leadership and staff
• Optional moonlighting across Virginia hospitals

What You Need

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology
• Valid medical license in Virginia or ability to obtain one
• Previous experience in NICU preferred
• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical skills
