What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a Level III NICU and newborn nursery
• Manage and participate in high-risk deliveries alongside OB/perinatal teams
• Deliver patient-centered care to a daily census of approximately 9-11 infants
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Neonatologists, Nurse Practitioners, nurses, and respiratory therapists
• Lead and mentor NICU nursing and respiratory staff as patient acuity grows
• Develop and implement clinical protocols and participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Engage in strategic growth and program expansion efforts
• Maintain effective communication with hospital leadership and staff
• Optional opportunity for moonlighting across Virginia

What You Need

• Valid medical license with Neonatology certification
• Minimum of 3+ years experience in NICU or neonatal care
• Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
