Nuclear Medicine Technologist Opportunity

Jackson HealthPros is seeking a skilled nuclear medicine technologist to work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team. The technologist will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive drugs and operating radiation detection and imaging equipment. The role requires adherence to radiation safety protocols and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record.

Minimum Requirements

• An associate or bachelor's degree in nuclear medicine technology.
• State license and certification to practice nuclear medicine in Florida where applicable.
• ARRT Nuclear Medicine certification.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with GE Discovery cameras or similar gamma camera systems.
• Experience using Meditech or comparable electronic documentation systems.
• Ability to perform all general nuclear medicine procedures.
• Call coverage capability for evening-to-morning shifts as required by the department (example: 7p-7a rotations).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous hospital experience, preferably in a busy imaging department.
• Previous travel assignment experience preferred.
• Ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 07:00–17:30.
• Workdays: Days.
• Call requirement: 7p–7a, four days per week (department call expectations).
• Unit equipment: GE Discovery imaging systems.
• Documentation system: Meditech.
• May be required to float to other facilities within the client network when needed.
