What Will You Do as a Physical Therapist? As a Physical Therapist at Grand Rapids Care Center , you'll evaluate and treat patients with a variety of mobility and functional needs. Your role may include: Performing comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations Developing individualized plans of care based on patient needs and goals Addressing strength, balance, gait, transfers, endurance and functional mobility Providing therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education and functional mobility training Assessing the need for assistive devices and providing appropriate training Developing fall-prevention and safety strategies Monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans when appropriate Educating patients, families and caregivers Collaborating with PTAs and the interdisciplinary care team Completing accurate and timely clinical documentation Helping patients work toward greater safety, mobility and independence Why Grand Rapids Care Center?
