Job Summary:
Outpatient Physical Therapist in Chelsea, Massachusetts. This role involves assisting patients in maximizing their physical performance through assessments, treatment plans, manual therapy, and exercises. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment. The position initially starts at the Chelsea location and will transition to a Revere location in July.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; Masters Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred. Licensure as a Physical Therapist is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. Experience working as a physical therapist in a hospital, rehabilitation, or ambulatory setting (1-2 years) is required. Orthopedic physical therapy experience is required.
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
• Additional Information: The position involves evaluating the effects of treatment at various stages, adjusting treatments to achieve maximum benefit, documenting goals and progress, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Supervising Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) according to policies and state regulations may be required. Knowledge of medical terminology, Electronic Medical Record systems, and related accreditation and certification requirements are essential.
