Development SpecialistGarden To Table empowers school communities with gardens and curriculum to engage all students in experiential outdoor education. Garden To Table provides gardens, curriculum, training and support to schools in Boulder County. Currently serving 18 elementary schools, our program connects with more than 300 teachers and more than 6,300 students. We provide everything a school needs to maintain a garden and use it for teaching and learning. No calls please.Primary Responsibilities:Work with the Community Outreach Director to bring in $50,000 in new sponsorships for the 23rd Annual Boulder Garden TourThe Boulder Garden Tour is Garden to Table's largest annual fundraising event, and will take place on June 27, 2027Work with the Community Outreach Director to bring in $50,000 in new programmatic/garden funding (local sponsorships, philanthropic gifts, foundation gifts, etc…)Our organization has had a large focus on grant funding for the past few years, and our goal is to increase our presence in Boulder County by working more closely with private donors, foundations, and businesses.Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience2+ years of experience in nonprofit development, fundraising, communications, marketing, or a related fieldExperience with donor relations, fundraising campaigns, and sponsorshipsStrong preference for experience and connections in the region served by the Boulder Valley School DistrictExcellent organizational and project-management skills, with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and projects independentlyProficiency with Google WorkspaceAbility to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writingStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with donors, volunteers, community members, and colleaguesCommitment to Garden to Table's mission and valuesSelf-motivated, reliable, and outgoingU.S. Citizenship or lawful permanent resident status requiredPreferred Qualifications:Experience with donor databases/CRM systemsExperience working in a small nonprofit or similarly collaborative environmentBasic graphic design or content-creation skillsBilingual candidates are encouraged to applyDiversity and Equal Opportunity: The Growe Foundation DBA Garden To Table pledges not to discriminate against any employee, volunteer, program participant or guest on the basis of race, creed, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, marital status, gender or gender expression, sexual orientation, age, physical ability, veteran status, or political service or affiliation.
