Maintenance Technician – RISE St. Augustine (Build‑to‑Rent Community) $24–$26/hour A resident submits their first service request in a brand‑new home. In a new community, maintenance sets the baseline: How quickly issues are resolved How well things are cared for How residents feel about their home This role is about consistency, quality, and ownership — keeping something new operating the way it was designed to. What You’ll Be Responsible For Completing service requests efficiently and with attention to detail Troubleshooting maintenance issues and delivering lasting solutions Performing preventative maintenance across homes and community spaces Supporting the overall appearance and functionality of the property Communicating clearly with residents and team members Helping ensure readiness of homes for move‑ins What We’re Looking For The right person for this role: Takes pride in doing the job right — not just getting it done Is reliable, steady, and shows up ready to solve problems Communicates professionally with residents and teammates Pays attention to detail and notices issues early Understands urgency, but doesn’t cut corners Works well independently and as part of a team What This Role Is NOT Not a quick‑fix, patch‑and‑move‑on approach Not a reactive‑only position Not a “check the box” maintenance role Anyone can close out a work order.
