Senior Territory Representative - Equine (AZ, S.CA, NV, UT)

Equine Senior Territory Manager Overview Our Equine Senior Territory Manager interacts face-to-face with customers, understands their needs and consults to offer the right solutions. Working collaboratively within Field Sales Teams, the role supports our customer‑centric business model and ensures that our Animal Health products bring value and technical innovations aligned with the Science of Healthier Animals. The position covers the Arizona, Southern CA, Nevada and Utah territories and requires residing within the territory. Key Responsibilities Communicate product information in a meaningful and relevant way to each customer, customizing discussions based on their needs. Act as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, meeting with key decision-makers to understand practice structure, business model, key influencers, and customer needs, identifying business opportunities. Develop customer strategy outlining interactions, solutions, partner involvement, and potential offerings that result in sales opportunities and account growth of our Animal Health products and services. Analyze account routing and sales results monthly, manage daily calls through CRM tools, and maintain expenses within budget guidelines. Create territory and specific account plans for all key customers. Partner with National Account Managers, Corporate Account Team, and Distribution Field Partners to focus on key accounts and corporate‑owned clinics and drive sales growth. Collaborate across all species teams to foster a unified knowledge of our full product portfolio. Share insights with region team members to promote growth and development within the team. Identify and select programs or services from our resources to address customer needs and provide education and training opportunities. Work with leadership and Field Technical Services to develop and deliver relevant offerings that meet customer requirements. Expand understanding of our products, industry trends, and competitor landscape. Articulate and communicate relevant customer, industry, product, and market trends appropriately throughout the organization. Develop and meet learning and development objectives agreed upon with leadership. Qualifications Background & Education High school diploma with at least 10 years of sales experience, or Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of sales experience. Required Skills and Abilities Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Motivated and focused on achieving measurable, tangible results. Proficient with data resources and analytic problem‑solving tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong account management skills and ability to develop and manage a diverse mix of accounts. In‑depth knowledge of effective selling techniques and approaches. General computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and use of an iPad. Ability to travel 70% of the time, with overnight and some weekend activity. Preferred Skills and Abilities Three (3)+ years of prior Equine industry experience. Knowledge of animal health biological and pharmaceutical products. Experience with distribution or multi‑lingual fluency, particularly Spanish. Experience in account management, channel partner management, customer strategy, lead generation, market analysis, and sales forecasting. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $96,200.00 – $151,400.00. Eligible for annual bonus and long‑term incentive, if applicable.
