Days: Sunday – Thursday, 3:30 pm – 12 am (2nd Shift). Additional hours and overtime as needed. Responsibilities Perform various functions in support of warehouse operations, including shipping, loading, and delivery of flooring products. Oversee the functions of warehouse workers on an assigned shift to ensure accuracy, completeness, and on‑time shipping. Direct employees on correct loading processes for delivery trucks. Train new employees on equipment operation, shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, and other warehouse responsibilities. Certify employees on forklift operation. Operate lift trucks or other machinery used in preparing and loading flooring products for shipment. Informally monitor employee performance and provide feedback to management. Provide backup in the absence of the supervisor. Demonstrate expected safe work habits to others – lead by example. Assist in leading safety meetings and implementing safety initiatives. Attend any job‑related training deemed necessary by supervision. Perform other tasks assigned by management. Qualifications Knowledge of OSHA regulations. Basic knowledge of DOT requirements. Knowledge and demonstrated commitment to Mohawk safety standards. Forklift certified. At least 18 months of experience in the functions being assigned to lead. Demonstrated positive work habits, dependability, and good attendance. Physical requirements: able to sit, stand, reach, bend, twist without restrictions; stand for extended periods; lift 80 lb several times a shift; vision correctable to 20/40; climb on and off lift trucks; load and unload pad materials without restriction. Ability to read and write in English; basic mathematics and weight measures. Strong written and oral communication, organizational skills, and problem‑solving capabilities; detail‑oriented. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a team environment. Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions and interpret department operating standards.
