Oneida ESC Group has an immediate opening for a Procurement Administrator that is Remotely Based in the US.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for obtaining and analyzing quotes from suppliers.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and other contractual issues with suppliers.
  • Process purchase orders acting as a liaison between the company and suppliers.
  • Identify alternate sourcing opportunities for cost savings/quality enhancement.
  • Follow-up and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Evaluate supplier performance and develop new sources of supply as required.
  • Maintain filing of purchase orders and associated documentation.
  • Conform to all purchasing procedures established in the company procurement policy.
  • Ensure timely conversion of purchase requisitions to purchase orders.

Secondary Elements of the Position:

• • Issue requests for proposals to potential subcontractors.
  • Review subcontractor RFP packages and proposals with project managers.
  • Prepare and issue subcontracts.
  • Ensure the accuracy of subcontract information in the accounting system.
  • Reviewing certificates of insurance for compliance
  • Manage Subcontract Close-outs

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in purchasing and a Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent experience.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple buying issues simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptable to change and comfortable with a dynamic organization.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Maintain the highest standards of personal and professional integrity and ethics.
• Possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of the FAR

Compensation Range:

• $48,000 - $53,000
