Psychiatry - Geriatrics Physician

Provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment in accordance with the standard of care, Patient s Bill of Rights, TJC standards, and all legal/judicial mandates. Leads interdisciplinary treatment planning, including discharge planning, and oversees psychotropic medication management, diagnostic testing, and therapeutic interventions. Prepares clinical documentation, reports, and testimony for judicial reviews and civil commitment proceedings while ensuring full compliance with state statutes and regulatory requirements. Directs and collaborates with medical and clinical staff, maintains accurate case records, participates in medical staff activities, and engages in ongoing professional education to ensure high quality patient care.
