Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist - Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center

Atlantic Health, one of New Jersey's largest non‑profit healthcare networks, seeks a Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Department of Psychiatry at Morristown Medical Center. The position is located in the newly renovated outpatient office in Florham Park, New Jersey. Role Overview This part‑time position offers a 22.5‑hour work week, limited at‑home call, and one paid weekend shift per month. The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive evaluations, treatment planning, and follow‑up care for adolescents and children, and will also occasionally cover adult patients. The role supports a strong collaborative team environment combined with a robust departmental support structure. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for adolescents and children. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Provide follow‑up care and adjust treatment as needed. Collaborate closely with clinicians, nursing staff, and other team members. Participate in cross‑coverage for adult patients when required. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives across psychiatric services. Qualifications Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry. Fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey. Familiarity with federal and state psychiatric care standards.
