Overview Radiographer - Morristown Medical Center - Full Time: 6p-7a, rotating schedule every 7 weeks, no call. Location: Morristown, NJ. Base pay range: $33.33/hr - $58.67/hr. This range is provided by Atlantic Health; actual pay based on skills and experience. Responsibilities Responsible for x-raying patients using radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs as directed by the Radiologist. Generate high-quality images to assist with diagnosis and treatment. Prepare and maintain records and files as directed. Perform imaging procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. Operate, troubleshoot, and ensure proper care and sanitization of imaging equipment. Obtain patient history, explain procedures, and address questions or concerns. Maintain equipment, assess safety, and ensure patient comfort. Monitor need for procedure revisions and coordinate daily imaging procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School. 0-3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area. NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Preferred Experience in a Health Care Facility or Hospital System.
