Job Description Responsible for X‑raying patients using radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs (x‑rays). Generates high‑quality images to assist diagnosis and treatment, and prepares & maintains records and files as directed by the Radiologist. Principal Accountabilities Performs imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. Demonstrates knowledge of imaging equipment, including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care & sanitization. Obtains patient history, explains routine procedures, and addresses patient queries or concerns. Maintains equipment for procedures, assessing safety and patient comfort. Monitors need for procedure revisions and coordinates daily imaging procedures. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate of an Accredited Radiography School. 0–3 years of experience as a Radiographer or relevant area. NJ State Radiologic Technologist (RT) license. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a health care facility or hospital system.
