Physician Assistant, Orthopedic Surgery - Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center

Job Description Atlantic Health is seeking a full‑time Physician Assistant (PA) to join the orthopedic surgery team at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, New Jersey. The PA will work with an established orthopedic team, assisting in surgical cases, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, evaluating and treating patients in an outpatient setting, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Assist in orthopedic surgical cases, including pre‑ and post‑operative care. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies. Evaluate and treat patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey. Must be certified by the National Board of Certification of Orthopaedic Physician’s Assistants. ACLS and BLS certification required. Minimum 2–5 years of experience in orthopedics, spine, or PM&R preferred. Strong work ethic and teamwork skills, with the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and computer skills.
