CT Scan Technologist – Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center – Full Time Location: Morristown, NJ, United States Hours: Monday–Thursday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. Job Description The CT Scan Technologist is responsible for producing cross‑section images of patients’ internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. The role includes interpreting a physician’s scanning instructions, administering contrast materials, preparing and operating CT scan equipment, and positioning the patient to capture the appropriate images. Principal Accountabilities Interpret CT protocols and correctly position the patient for the exam. Operate CT scanner equipment in accordance with prescribed radiation standards (ALARA). Evaluate CT scans for technical quality. Utilize EPIC, Radiant, and PACS to schedule and transmit images to the radiologist for interpretation. Prepare and administer contrast material using the power injector. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: Accredited educational program related to the radiology field and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Associate’s degree in Applied Science in Diagnostic Radiology. Licensed by the State in Diagnostic Technology. Preferred: CT Certification.
