Forest Hill Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a reliable and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team in Richmond, VA. In this role, you will help ensure our residents receive nutritious, well-prepared meals in a clean, welcoming dining environment .

• Assist in preparing and serving meals and snacks according to resident dietary plans and facility menus.

• Ensure proper portion control and food presentation .

• Set up, deliver, and collect meal trays and dining room service .

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining areas, and equipment in compliance with state and facility regulations.

• Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment following safe food-handling procedures .

• Stock and organize food supplies and assist with inventory and storage as needed.

• Work collaboratively with dietary, nursing, and care staff to support residents’ nutritional needs.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards .

  Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Dietary Aide or food service experience required (healthcare or long-term care preferred).

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions .

• Strong communication and teamwork skills .

• Dependable and able to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed .

• Knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards is a plus.

Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and skills and may fall outside the posted range.
