This is a great opportunity to join a growing precision sheet metal manufacturing team and build on your CNC laser experience. The company is willing to train someone with limited laser experience who understands the basics of machine controls, troubleshooting, and material handling. You'll work with Amada CNC lasers, with opportunities to cross-train on CNC punch equipment and other machines in the department. Pay is based on experience, with flexibility for highly experienced laser operators.

Duties:
· Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment, including Amada lasers.
· Use machine keypad controls and monitor equipment during production runs.
· Troubleshoot basic laser operating issues and make appropriate machine adjustments.
· Use a fork truck to move pallets of sheet metal to and from storage racks.
· Load and unload sheet metal materials while following safety procedures.
· Crosstrain on CNC punch equipment and laser-punch combination machinery as needed.
· Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
What we look for...
· Some experience or familiarity with CNC laser equipment; Amada experience is a plus but not required
· Fork truck experience and comfort handling pallets of sheet metal
· Basic understanding of machine keypad controls and troubleshooting
· CNC punch or laser-punch combination experience is a plus
· Dependability, mechanical aptitude, and willingness to cross-train on multiple machines
