Coordinates subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Manages the design and development of RF circuitry used in high frequency and microwave applications, including receivers, transmitters, antennas, and frequency synthesizers. Leads the staff responsible for hardware layout, component evaluation, prototype construction, and test. Oversees the preparation of the following: test methods and specifications; analysis and testing of RF hardware to verify performance characteristics. Provides inputs to Product Development for formal documentation and supports manufacturing during the deliverable assembly and test phase. Manages the development of RF System/Subsystem Architectures consisting of: antennas, transmitters, receivers, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, RF conversion elements and transmission line equipment. Coordinates link analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources. Manages the development and allocation of RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements. Oversees the identification and tracking of RF technical performance measurements (TPMs). Monitors RF system/subsystem/component trade studies and CAIV analysis. Proximity to the White Mountains of New Hampshire, as well as the picturesque coastal towns of Massachusetts and New Hampshire, makes it an attractive destination for outdoor enthusiasts and those seeking a relaxed, yet connected, lifestyle.Basic QualificationsBachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering preferred or BS Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) accepted plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional engineering experience.Team leadership experience at the project level.Extensive experience with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues for RF applications.Extensive experience with the use of RF microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Candidate must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance and be able to obtain at least an Interim Secret Clearance before starting the position, therefore you must be a US Citizen.Desired SkillsMaster of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical field.Active DoD Secret or Top Secret ClearanceLeadership experience at the group level with strategic input, staff career management, and budgetary management experience.Significant relevant experience in the defense electronics industry, including architecture development for RF systems.Experience designing active RF modules, circuits or systems.Extensive experience with troubleshooting designs and resolving integration issues in a production or manufacturing environment.Extensive experience testing microwave products at the RF circuit card assembly (CCA), module, or subassembly level.Expert level knowledge of microwave simulation tools.Expertise with datalink or T/R module architecture.Expertise with RF subsystems and hardware including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, advanced electronic modules, amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits, and frequency conversion circuits.Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques.Expertise with technical documentation such as specifications, schematic drawings, and test data.Experience with customer interface including technical presentations.Hands-on Hardware ExperienceAbility to lead failure investigations on production and/or technical issues.Ability work in a team collaborative environment especially with manufacturing and industrial engineers and/or operator on production support.Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $166900.00 - $309900.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
