About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President of Client Coverage, Business Development to join their team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the origination of new opportunities, with a primary focus on industry coverage. This role demands a strategic thinker who is also a hands-on executor, capable of advising on market trends and engaging in detailed analysis. The VP of Client Coverage will be responsible for maintaining and managing the company's coverage program, with a heavy emphasis on insurance companies, and will be the primary interface for executive and C-Suite discussions. The position requires a deep understanding of the insurance and financial services market, experience in managing coverage programs, and a proven track record in driving client discussions toward transactions. Applicants for the Vice President of Client Coverage, Business Development position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' of relevant experience, with a strong background in investment banking, M&A, or reinsurance. The role demands excellent knowledge of the US life and annuity industry, including the reinsurance market, and the ability to develop C-suite level overviews. The ideal candidate will have a strong network of industry contacts, particularly in corporate development, and be familiar with life insurance products and regulatory frameworks. The role requires a proactive individual with excellent communication, presentation, and management skills, who can work independently and is adept at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA, CFA, or actuarial certifications being beneficial.
