Job Title: Emergency Department – Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Plainview, TX 79072
Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule

Shift: Day Shift (3x12 Hours)
Timing: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Block Scheduling: Available
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend (Total of 6 weekend shifts per schedule)

Compensation

Local Pay: $48/hour
Travel Pay: $2,100 per week

Position Overview

A reputable healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, the ability to handle emergency situations, and experience taking on charge nurse responsibilities when needed.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients with varying acuity levels
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately
Maintain a patient ratio of approximately 1:4
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
Step into charge nurse responsibilities as needed
Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and best practices

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (TX)
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
Certifications Required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS (Stroke Scale Certification)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Experience managing a 1:4 patient ratio
Ability to take on charge nurse responsibilities
