Reports to: Production Manager Position Summary: As a Food Production Associate, you will be responsible for producing our Pangea Complete Crested Gecko Diet. Key duties include assembling equipment, measuring and packaging product, labeling, inspecting quality, and preparing items for inventory and distribution. Success in this role requires a strong focus on safety, teamwork, efficiency, and quality. Key Responsibilities: Measure, weigh, and fill bags for packaging Assemble and maintain production equipment Seal, label, and inspect containers to ensure quality standards are met Transport finished goods to designated inventory locations Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately Maintain a clean and sterile work environment Prioritize tasks effectively in collaboration with the team Participation in annual full inventory audit Willingness to cross-train in other departments as needed Core Competencies: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication skills Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Reliable, with excellent attendance Capable of solving problems and working both independently and as part of a team Basic math and literacy skills Physical Demands: Ability to stand for duration of shift, walk, sit, and use hands Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally Ability to safely use a pallet jack Work may involve exposure to hazardous equipment and conditions Ability to work in extreme temperatures and around distracting or uncomfortable noise levels Work Environment: Must be able to remain calm and productive in high-pressure situations Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as required Cross-training in other Production roles as needed #J-18808-Ljbffr
