Job Responsibilities Maintain compliance standards through the review and completion of various tasks, including processing demographic information and managing mail and shipments. Assist the team with special projects and forward special requests for customers. Work closely with leadership to research and reconcile problems that arise in the department. Participate in meetings and represent the area on committees and project teams. Serve as a mentor and resource for management and staff. Commit to the Performance Based Organization (PBO) & Easy to Do Business with (ETDBW) philosophy. Contribute to Continuous Process Improvement initiatives. Ensure integrity of data and information. Perform quality control functions. Update information on accounts in the Loan Servicing and/or Originations systems. Perform other tasks related to resolving customer needs. Maintain accounts and reports regarding the quality and compliance processes and procedures. Provide feedback regarding performance observations and recommend resolution/training for identified performance shortfalls. Research and correct issues within the designated time period as per department standards. Qualifications and Requirements Employment and continued employment are contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a favorable clearance. Must reside in the United States and be a United States citizen. Must not be delinquent or in default with any federal debt. Final suitability determination is the sole discretion of the Department of Education. Education Associate’s degree preferred. Experience 2 years of customer service experience and/or general office experience preferred. Knowledge of Loan Servicing and/or Originations systems preferred.
