Cybersecurity Administrator

Title: Cybersecurity Administrator Compensation: $65,000–$70,000 Preferred Location: Austin, TX also open to San Antonio, TX Top Technical Requirements Physical Networking Ability to manage equipment in a rack environment. Experience terminating cables is highly preferred (current team gap). Virtual Networking Ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues between devices. Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (Networking 101). Firewall Management Experience managing firewall policies. Understanding of web application firewall policies. Ability to troubleshoot and administer firewall-related issues. AI & Emerging Technology Awareness Understanding of current AI applications and how they can improve day-to-day IT troubleshooting and administration. Ability to leverage AI productivity tools. Awareness of how developers and IT teams are utilizing AI to improve efficiency. Nice to Have Skills Development experience Anything to do with App Security Experience with cloud service providers such as Microsoft Entra, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or similar platforms would be highly valuable. A strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, hosting environments, and cloud-based architecture would be a major plus for this role. Why choose Addison?
