This contract role spans 13 weeks and offers a unique schedule that balances work and compensation effectively—working four 10-hour days while being compensated for five 8-hour days, including regular and overtime pay.

Location: Santa Rosa, CA
Schedule:

• 4 days/week, 10 hours each
• Paid on a 5 x 8 schedule (32 hours regular time + 8 hours overtime per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Order verification ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and standards
• Applying pharmacokinetics principles in patient care
• Consulting with physicians and nursing staff to optimize medication therapy
• Utilizing EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management and documentation

Qualifications:

• Active California pharmacist license required
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with healthcare teams
• Positive attitude and a commitment to quality patient care
• Experience with hospital pharmacy operations and technology preferred
