Location 9252 BUSH ST,Plymouth, CA, 95669-9008,United States Base Pay $17.5 / Hour Employee Type PT Non Exempt Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, efficient, and courteous service Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, including handling cash and credit transactions Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including counters, equipment, and seating areas Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and report shortages to supervisors Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations Adhere to Tribal Casino policies, including guest service standards and confidentiality requirements Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues when necessary Perform opening, closing, and all other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment preferred Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Basic math and cash-handling skills Ability to maintain a professional demeanor at all times Requirements Required Qualifications Licenses, Certifications & Requirements FoodHandlers Card (or ability to obtain within required timeframe) Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Gaming License Must be at least 18 or 21 years of age (per Tribal and state regulations) Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 30 lbs Manual dexterity to operate coffee equipment and POS systems Fast-paced cafe environment within a casino setting Exposure to noise, crowds, and varying temperatures Must be willing to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays Education and Experience High school diploma or GED preferred Previous barista, cafe, or food service experience preferred but not required Training provided for beverage preparation and POS systems Employment Disclaimer Nothing in this job description alters the at-will nature of employment or creates a contract of employment.
