The position works a hybrid schedule in East Mesa, AZ – 3 days in office and 2 days remote. The pay range - $21-$24 an hour DOE. Position Summary The Contract Billing & Receivables Specialist supports the accurate application of ACH payments and assists in resolving billing discrepancies across leasing and customer accounts. This role works closely with the Contract Billing, Leasing, and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure timely and accurate payment processing. The specialist monitors auto-posting systems, investigates payment variances, and contributes to process documentation and reporting efforts. Essential Functions And Responsibilities Manage daily application of ACH payments to customer invoices and leasing accounts with attention to accuracy and timeliness. Support team members in resolving payment discrepancies and escalating complex issues as needed. Monitor auto-posting functionality from leasing companies and report system errors for resolution. Research and document payment discrepancies between contract invoices and bank transactions; track unapplied payments for follow-up. Create corrective invoices, credit memos, and adjustments for leasing freight, interim rent, and other pass-through charges. Collaborate with Contract Billing, Leasing, and Accounts Receivable teams to gather documentation and ensure proper payment allocation. Assist in documenting standard operating procedures to support transparency and consistency. Support preparation of Lease AR aging and termination reports for account monitoring. Qualifications And Experience Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent 1–3+ years of experience in Contract Billing, Accounts Receivable, or Cash Applications Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Effective communication and customer service skills Problem-solving and analytical abilities with a proactive mindset Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite—especially Excel—and familiarity with ERP systems Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the office technology industry—such as printer, copier, or managed print services Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
