Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Tucson, Arizona.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Telemetry\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 09/28/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 3x12hrs\n Hours: 36 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Sep 28, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a float pool position requiring AZ or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience across multiple facilities.Details\n \n Float pool position covering Med/Surg, Med/Surg/Tele, and Transitional Care units\n Requires floating between four facilities: Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita\n Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 3x12 hour shifts\n 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule\n Patient ratio of 6:1\n Cerner EMR experience preferred\n Requirements\n \n Active AZ or compact RN license required\n Current BLS and ACLS certifications required\n Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start\n 2+ years of recent nursing experience required\n Any scrub color permitted\n Active driver's license required for consideration\n US SSN required for consideration (no Canadian SIN accepted)\n No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months\n Additional Information\n \n Provide shift-based nursing care to Med/Surg/Tele patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with hospital policy\n Demonstrate critical thinking and clinical judgment in planning and delivering safe patient care\n Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education\n Delegate patient care responsibilities and provide direction to assigned staff\n Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position\n RTO requests must be less than one week\n Not eligible if previously employed as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years\n First-time travelers are welcome to apply\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-754741.
