Director of Nursing (DON) - Pampa Nursing

As our new Director of Nursing (DON) , you will play a crucial role in leading our nursing team to deliver high-quality care while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

About the Role:

As the Director of Nursing (DON) , you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing department, providing leadership and strategic direction, and ensuring the delivery of quality patient care. Your expertise and guidance will be instrumental in setting standards, developing policies, and implementing procedures that align with our organization's mission and values.

Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and direction to the nursing team, including but not limited to, nurses, nurse assistants, and other support staff
Oversee the development and implementation of nursing policies, procedures, and standards
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational policies
Collaborate with other department leaders to develop and implement strategies for improving patient care and outcomes
Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the nursing department
Recruit, retain, and develop talent within the nursing team
Develop and manage budgets for nursing services
Maintain open communication with patients, families, and healthcare providers

Requirements:

A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field
