As a Surgical PA with a dedicated focus on Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, you’ll collaborate with world-class surgeons and multidisciplinary teams in a hospital that pioneered surgical teaching in the U.S. Our Department of Surgery continues a proud tradition of innovation, offering advanced and minimally invasive procedures across multiple specialties. What You’ll Do: · Provide comprehensive care for surgical patients admitted to the hospital, with emphasis on plastic and reconstructive surgery cases · Perform consults, manage floor duties, and assist with OR coverage · Work Monday–Friday, Day Shift, covering impatient and outpatient Required Qualifications: · 1+ year experience in surgical specialties and plastic or reconstructive surgery with an emphasis on surgical wound closure Required Licensing: · Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies · NYS PA Licensure · Current NCCPA Certification · ACLS/BLS · NYS Infection Control Certification · DEA Certification with NYS Opioid Prescriber compliance Why NYP Brooklyn Methodist? · Contribute to a growing Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery service line · Be part of a legacy of surgical innovation · Collaborate with highly respected clinicians in a supportive environment · Enjoy flexibility and work-life balance with a weekday schedule Salary Range: $70.30-$93.88/Hourly It all begins with you.
