This role is in support of Cencora's patient and provider support and pharma commercialization services in Canada marketed through our Innomar Strategies business. Responsibilities: Management of information and pharmacovigilance: receiving, scanning and documenting all relevant clinical information in compliance with PON/protocols and applicable legislation; Responding to medical information requests using the approved FAQ; Working directly with internal and external clients to request additional information or clarifications, as needed; Reviewing patient information in the database and ensuring documentation is accurate as per client needs; Attaching post-infusion reports to databases to ensure appropriate documentation for patient assistance, and drug safety program needs; Entering data into program-specific databases; Sorting and filing incoming faxes and documents; Performing quality checks on adverse effect reports in compliance with work instructions; Performing source data verification or contributing to it; Other functions and tasks may be assigned to the pharmacovigilance assistant I as needed; Work may require on-call or on-call duties. Education: Post-secondary education to college level minimum is required. A diploma or certificate with a concentration in a life sciences program is a significant advantage; Experience in medical information, clinical research or drug safety or equivalent and related experience in pharmacy or in the pharmaceutical industry is a significant advantage; Knowledge of the pharmacovigilance industry, including current knowledge of pharmacovigilance guidelines from Health Canada, US FDA, EMEA and ICH; Ability to adapt to change and acquire new skills as needed; Experience in medical and/or pharmaceutical fields and knowledge of medical terminology is an advantage; Skills and Knowledge: Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing; Good interpersonal relationships; Good organizational skills; demonstrated attention to detail; Ability to consistently meet deadlines; time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks; Excellent problem-solving skills; ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently; Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Office Programs; The successful candidate may have daily contacts with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients or peers from cross-functional teams.
