Receiving SpecialistWe are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Receiving Specialist to support daily warehouse and inventory operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role is responsible for receiving, tracking, organizing, and delivering incoming shipments while ensuring inventory accuracy and excellent service to internal customers.The ideal candidate is punctual, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable performing physical work throughout the day.ScheduleMonday through Friday8:00 AM - 4:30 PMKey ResponsibilitiesReceive and process incoming packages using inventory management systemsVerify purchase orders, shipment accuracy, and receipt documentationResearch and resolve package discrepancies in a timely mannerSafely prepare, transport, and deliver packages to internal departmentsLoad, unload, wrap, and organize incoming and outgoing shipmentsMaintain clean, organized, and secure inventory and storage areasVerify delivery accuracy and obtain proper documentation when requiredSupport daily warehouse operations and inventory control activitiesFollow established safety, quality, and operational proceduresProvide excellent customer service to internal stakeholders and end usersQualificationsRequiredHigh School Diploma or equivalentBasic computer and handheld device proficiencyStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to accurately record and track inventory transactionsReliable attendance and strong work ethicAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesPreferredPrevious warehouse, receiving, inventory, logistics, or supply chain experienceExperience using inventory management or warehouse systemsPhysical RequirementsThis position involves regular physical activity and requires the ability to:Lift, carry, push, and pull materials throughout the workdayFrequently stand and walk for extended periodsBend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb, and reach as neededLoad and unload shipments safelyWork in warehouse and storage environmentsWork EnvironmentFast-paced environment with changing prioritiesExposure to warehouse conditions including varying temperatures, noise, and dustFrequent interaction with internal customers and delivery personnelOpportunities to work independently while maintaining operational accuracyWhat We're Looking ForStrong customer service mindsetDependable, punctual, and professional attitudeAttention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to adapt to changing workloads and prioritiesTeam player with a positive, can-do approachIf you're looking for an opportunity to join a collaborative team and play a key role in inventory and logistics operations, we'd love to hear from you.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
