Responsibilities Input and update patient information, medical records, and other essential data into the electronic health record (EHR) system and databases. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of data while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Verify and correct data discrepancies by conducting regular audits and cross‑referencing with source documents. Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries for management and healthcare professionals. Collaborate with healthcare staff to gather information and clarify data entry requirements. Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for easy retrieval of patient data. Support administrative tasks as needed, including scanning, printing, and sorting documents. Stay updated with policies and procedures related to data entry and patient information management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or administrative support is a plus. Proven experience in data entry, preferably within a healthcare setting. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with EHR systems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare procedures is preferred.
