SENIOR COOK (FULL AND PART TIME)

Job Summary Prepare food to ensure it is nutritious and properly flavored in accordance with applicable federal, state, local, and company standards, guidelines, and regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities May oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director. Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes. Operate and clean equipment after each use; perform scheduled routine cleaning. Store, label, and date food items according to policy; help maintain organized storage of dry goods, refrigerated, and frozen products. Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of the food supply. Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and departmental sanitation procedures. Assist Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and complete all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned. Assist in the cross‑training of employees. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Location: Houston Catering – 1201 Oliver Street, Suite #104, Houston, TX 77007. Schedule: Full and part‑time; Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Availability for events, weekends, and holidays required. Required experience: Four years of catering experience; previous off‑site catering experience preferred. Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour. Referral Bonus: Available for internal employee referrals.
