Allied Technician - Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist (PT) Outpatient

This position is for a Physical Therapist to provide a combination of 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient coverage. The role requires 40 hours of work per week, with schedules consisting of rotating weekends (less than once a month). The typical weekdays may consist of 8 or 10 hour shifts with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of conditions including general degenerative conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, worker's compensation cases, and trauma.
• Manage a diverse patient load across all ages, addressing their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Provide wound care as needed, for those certified in this specialty.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Valid physical therapy license in the state of practice.
• Experience in outpatient physical therapy preferred.
• Ability to work with a diverse patient population and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Shift Information

The position typically operates on a day shift, with a standard of four 10-hour shifts (07:00 - 16:00).
